Meet hickory
Hickory is one of those older, distinguished gentlemen who is looking for a calm home that will give him the love and comfort he deserves in his golden years. Volunteers report that he is pretty low energy, very calm and gentle. He is easy to collar and walk and really enjoys sniffing and strolling at a leisurely pace. While we are still learning about him, he is giving us the indication that he was previously potty trained- he keeps a clean kennel and does his business outside. Heartworm Sponsorship: DOG has heartworms but it's treatable and not contagious. To help with the medical cost, a $600 sponsorship for treatment is provided by Friends of Wake County Animal Center.
