Meet early
With a name like Early, you’d think this adorable pup would be up at dawn - - but really, she’s just early to the please-pet-me party! This 12-week old, 12-pound (as of 10/28) Labrador Retriever/Catahoula mix is a soft, shiny bundle of sweetness who is equal parts energizer bunny and cuddle bear.
Early is black in color, golden in personality, and she adores absolutely everyone - - kids, adults, the elderly, and every dog she meets. She’s already a subway pro, traveling while curled up in her carrier and napping like a seasoned commuter!
Crinkly toys? Squeakies? Ropes? Yes, yes, and yes, please! Treats? Meh. Early prefers pets and massages, and she’ll happily remind you with a gentle nudge. After adequate playtime, Early is beyond thrilled to sit on your lap, soak up love, and look at you with those how-did-you-ever-live-without-me eyes. And you’ll look back at her the exact same way!
Early is pad trained and crate trained, although she’s not yet the hugest fan of her crate. But she’s getting there. Still too young for leash walks, once she’s able to, Early will be trotting beside you like she’s been doing it her whole life. Full of curiosity about the environment around her, Early is eager to experience the wonders of the world.
Early is a minimal shedder and an infrequent barker. Attentive and smart, if you sense that Early needs to relieve herself and you say to her, over there, Early immediately goes to her pad to do her business. With time and training, there’s no telling how far this ‘lil girl can go.
Early is a darling little doggy who would fit it to almost any type of home. If you’re looking for a loyal little shadow who is as lovable as she is sweet, Early is your girly!
