Meet belek-kezhik
Belek-Kezhik was adopted from the SPCA in Rockingham County, Virginia in 2012 under the name Tonka, but that didnt feel right. He brings so much love and joy to any space he enters that the only thing to name hime was Belek meaning joy, and Kezhik meaning gift. He has proven that name every single day.
He is 15 years and some change old, and he still has a ton of energy for a dog his age. And unfortunately, I am not the best home for him anymore. Without getting into it too much, my family obligations have exploded this year, and moving overseas has become necessary. Belek needs more care than I can give him.
Belek was diagnosed with possible Cushings, which means he needs free access to water, and either free access to outdoors, or someone who can take him outside every couple hours.
I am looking for a home that will allow him to live out his last year or two peacefully and with people who love him and will give him a better situation than I have been able to.
