Salami is a beautiful chocolate-brown Chihuahua mix with the sweetest eyes and an even sweeter heart. She was rescued from a tough situation where she became pregnant far too young, but those days are behind her now, and Salami is safe, loved, and ready to find her forever family.
This gentle girl can be shy at first and appreciates a little time to feel comfortable in new surroundings. Once she does, her playful personality shines through. She loves cuddles, toys, and cozying up with her favorite humans. Salami has proven to be a trusted and well-mannered companion inside the home. She’s doing great with her house training and continues to make steady progress. She’s still working on feeling fully confident in her crate, but with patience and reassurance, she’s learning that it’s a safe and comfortable space.
Salami is also learning all about the joys of being an indoor dog and has been doing wonderfully! She’s even taken it upon herself to “decorate” her home with toys in every room, just to make things feel more cheerful.
Salami would be happiest in a home with another friendly dog or with humans who are home often, as she loves companionship. She also enjoys having her own space to run and explore, so a fenced yard would be ideal for her to handle her “business” privately and safely.
