H! My name is Tommy, and I am currently IN SOUTH KOREA living with a loving foster awaiting to be matched to a home in Southern California!
A Lover Boy? Yes, that's who I am. I crave giving love and receiving love from humans. I will always be by your side, on your side, and be your sidesick! I love to cuddle and chill. Once you lay your gentle eyes on me, you will see my tail wag and I will want to be held in your arms. I will not let go of you... We will be best friends forever.
My hair had to be shaven off because I was terribly matted when I was rescued.

This dog was rescued in S. Korea from an abusive situation. Although S. Korea's new law banning the dog meat consumption is set to go into effect February 2027, and the consumption is all time low, the practice is still in common existence amongst elderly population especially in the rural countryside. No one could tell where this dog would have ended up. Thanks to the rescuers in S. Korea, this pup is longer in danger of getting trapped in dog meat trade!
DoVE Project has rescue partners in S. Korea who have their own private shelter and/or foster network. Our dogs stay with either a foster family or a private shelter until they are matched with an adopter in the US. Upon arrival in the US, our dogs stay in foster homes or in boarding, as we do not have a physical facility. These dogs are identified with "in LA" in their names.
