Meet koda
Koda is a 5-year-old Pit Bull mix who has come a long way since arriving at our center. When he first came in, he was shut down and terrified—but with time, patience, and love, he has blossomed into an amazing dog.
Since being at the shelter, Koda is greets nicely.. He’s a sensitive soul who thrives with people he trusts and gets very excited to see his favorite humans.
Koda shows no signs of resource guarding and prefers interactive play with his people. He occasionally enjoys toys, but his true joy comes from companionship. He’s good with other dogs and could do well in a multi-dog home, but he has no known history with cats.
Due to his nervous nature, we recommend a home with dog-savvy kids, ideally older children who understand how to give him space and understand that he is a lot of dog.
Koda is ready for a loving home where he can continue to grow and feel safe. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a gentle heart and a resilient spirit, Koda might be the perfect match.
