Meet Matisse!
3 years old | 10 lbs | Terrier Mix
Matisse is more than just adorable — he’s a true survivor. Our community reached out when they saw him on the shelter euthanasia list after being hit by a car and left with a fractured pelvis. Thanks to love and care, we took him in, repaired his pelvis, and now he’s healing beautifully. Before long, he’ll be zooming happily around the house and yard again!
This sweet, cuddly little guy loves chin scratches, belly rubs, and curling up in your lap. He’s playful, affectionate, and ready to be someone’s best friend. He would do best in a home with other dogs or cats to help him thrive.

Matisse may not be big on toys, but he’s big on love. If you’re looking for the perfect little companion with an inspiring story, Matisse is ready to steal your heart.
Matisse is currently a dermatology patient at MASH for skin allergies. He will be on long term skin allergy medication and will need dermatology rechecks.
