Creed is a wiggly, social, and affectionate boy who absolutely loves meeting new people. He greets everyone with enthusiasm and enjoys full-body pets without hesitation. At the shelter, he walks calmly past other dogs and is easy to leash and return to his kennel. Once outside, Creed’s excitement really shines — he’s strong on leash, but a harness helps manage his enthusiasm. He’s very treat-motivated and smart, which makes him a great candidate for continued leash training. He already knows sit, shake, and lie down and learns quickly with positive reinforcement. During a recent short-term foster stay, Creed showed just how adaptable and fun he can be in a home setting. He loved playing with toys, zooming around, enjoying tennis balls, and soaking up attention. He’s active and playful without being overwhelming, and he enjoys tug-of-war, fetch, and chewing on durable toys. Creed did great with the foster’s dogs and enjoyed running and playing with them. He listened well to both canine and human corrections. His cat experience is unknown, but he was able to disengage calmly when encountering a cat on a walk. After a brief adjustment period, Creed appeared to be housebroken. He marked initially but stopped within a few days. He did well being left alone, was not destructive, and became more comfortable relaxing independently over time. Creed is friendly, outgoing, and loves people — including new friends he met on outings. He thrives on interaction, play, and companionship, and would do best in a home that can provide structure, activity, and continued training.
