Meet niko
Sweet, playful GSD/malamute mix (65 pounds) who loves attention, exploring outside, and going to doggy daycare. He's house-trained, crate-trained, and well-mannered. Niko knows his basic commands, walks well on leash, and more interested in sniffing around than pulling away.
Loves squeaky toys, chew bones, and lounging outdoors watching birds/squirrels. He's very social and wants company, even if he's not a big cuddler. He just likes being nearby while doing his own thing. He's very trainable and smart, though sometimes selectively attentive. Energetic but not a workhorse and is content lounging around.
Niko thrives with active playmates who can match his roughhousing style or at least tolerate his enthusiasm. He would never hurt a fly, but his energy can overwhelm skittish or small dogs. A home with a yard would be perfect so he can run, sniff, and nap outdoors. He'd do best with people/siblings who enjoy both playful energy and lounging. Unfortunately, owner discovered an allergy.
