Pine was born to his sweet, shy mama, Pansy, in a South Korean high-kill city shelter. Fortunately, Pansy, Pine, and all of her babies were rescued, and Pine has grown into a gentle, loving, and playful companion. He is now ready to find the family that will love him forever.

Pine is social and friendly who quickly bonds with both people and dogs. However, he has not been tested with children or cats. He loves sitting on laps, walking side by side with his humans, and playing with toys — especially when treats are involved! While he’s not a fan of being touched on his hindquarters, but he absolutely melts under gentle petting on the head, face, and chin.

Intelligent, playful, and full of energy, Pine is also patient and observant. He learns routines and verbal cues quickly with consistency. Pine may feel a little nervous in new places, like vet visits, and sometimes gets car sick, but gentle guidance and patience help him blossom into the affectionate, loyal companion he was always meant to be.

Pine’s ideal home is an active, loving family who can provide at least 3 walks a day and the patience to help him feel comfortable in new situations. In return, he’ll offer endless love, companionship, and joy — plus a wagging tail that never quits.
