Meet Candy!
Candy is a spirited, energetic girl who loves to life!She enjoys fast walks, digging around in the brush and playing with her toys, but also appreciates peaceful downtime afterwards. She is affectionate and outgoing. She would make a great companion for someone that likes adventure and cuddles on the couch.
Candy was found as a stray on the streets of Puerto Rico, and she was picked up as part of a "Spay and Release" program. The purpose of the program is to sterilize street dogs so that they don't generate more unwanted puppies, who would surely suffer from hunger and fear, just like their parents. Fortunately for Candy, one of the wonderful volunteers saw something special in her, and rather than releasing her back to the streets, decided to rescue her, and asked us for help to get her to the continental US and find her a forever home.
Candy is now here in NH, very grateful, and very excited to begin the search for her forever family! She has the cutest face, and the most endearing little underbite!
Candy is 2 years old, and she weighs just 15lbs. She is spayed, has all her required vaccines, and is microchipped.
