Casper was found as a stray in Puerto Rico, but it's clear he once was belonged to someone. He is fully housebroken,  understands basic commands, and shows the manners of a dog who knew what it meant to be part of a home before being abandoned.Casper is true chihuahua - smart, loyal and opinionated. He is very people selective and dog selective, so hes looking for a calm understanding home that will respect his boundaries. Because of his preferences, we feel he may do best in a female only home or with a single, experienced adult who understands the chihuahua personality.Once Casper chooses you, he is incrediboy engaging and fun. He's handsome, enjoys playing with squeaky toys, and has a playful side that shines when he feels safe and secure.Casper is not a dog for everyone, but for the right foster or adopter, he will be a devoted and rewarding companion.
