Meet chai
We are sad to be rehoming our sweet Chai. She is a little over a year old. We got her from a shelter at 6 months old. She is super sweet, affectionate, and likes to snuggle. She also has lots of energy and loves to play - tug of war, chasing a ball, or frisbie. She is also quite smart (house trained, sleeps in crate) . At first she was leery of our other dog but they became friends after about 3-4 weeks of having her. We are trying to rehome her because she is not good with our cat. She has a strong prey drive and chases smaller animals like cats, smaller dogs, opossums, birds, etc. We have not been successful in getting her out of this. Therefore, our cat is unhappy and sequestered to the upstairs since getting Chai, too afraid to come down. We've had to put a gate at the stairway to prevent Chai from chasing her. Despite seeing cats as prey, Chai is wonderful with humans. She would make a great cuddle buddy, running buddy, and would be great for outdoorsy people.
