Meet Gertrude “Gertie” 💕🐾
Gertie is a 2-year-old, approximately 15 lb Chihuahua mix looking for her forever home!
This sweet girl may be a little shy at first, especially around men, but once she warms up, she’s playful, bouncy, and full of personality. Gertie absolutely loves adventures, so a securely fenced yard is required for this little explorer!
A few things about Gertie:• Loves bones and chew toys• Expert destroyer of stuffed toys 😂• Enjoys sleeping in bed with her foster mom• Can tolerate a crate for short periods, though it’s not her favorite• Partially housebroken and does best on a schedule
Gertie would thrive in a home with:• Dogs her own size (as long as she doesn’t have to share her food dish)• Dog-savvy cats• Possibly older children
Because she can be a little noisy, apartment living may not be the best fit.
She is up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped, and spayed. Her adoption fee is $450.
