Meet honey
Honey was 5 when we adopted her from a shelter in central Virginia. She came from a single owner where she lived for 5 years - she was routinely taken to the vet, however we believe she may have been an only outdoor dog and neglected. We don't believe she was socialized with people as she has anxiety when new people enter the home - more so fear of men than women. Once she has consistency with people, she is super sweet.
We have been working with her for a year to try to work on her anxiety, but with our busy and social lifestyle I don’t think she will be happy in our home.
Honey would do best in a quiet and calm home with consistent faces, she loves taking daily walks, also loves sunbathing in the yard and will snuggle with you all night. She is house broken, good with cats and other dogs. She’s very food motivated and has done well with training since we’ve gotten her. We’d love if someone could help us provide a better home for her
