Hey there!

I’m Harley, and I’m excited to tell you a bit about myself! I will start with the bad stuff and end with the good stuff. The family that had me left me in a ditch and drove away. I was a mess and was only 17 lbs on 7/3/25 when a nice lady found me. I was so skinny you could see my hip bones and my back bone. She has been taking really good care of me. She made sure I had plenty to eat and 3 weeks later I had gained 21 lbs and weighed in at 38 lbs!

I feel so much better and I am so thankful that she took me in and is loving on me until I can find my forever home.

Now that know how tough things were for me, let’s get to the fun stuff because I have a long life ahead! First off, I’m a tug-of-war champion and a ball enthusiast! My favorite toys are tug toys and anything that squeaks (I really love the stuffing out of stuffed toys—no judgment, please!). Playtime is my jam, especially when I get to battle it out with my furry friend.

I’m learning the ropes when it comes to walking on a leash, so bear with me! If you keep it close, I’m a smooth operator, but if you let it dangling, I might think it’s time to herd you in circles—gotta keep things interesting, right?

Now, let’s talk sleeping arrangements. I’m a pro at snoozing in my comfy crate next to my boy’s bed, but you might just find me sneaking into his bed for some extra cuddle time. During the day, I love to nap on my soft bed while my human works. Cuddling is one of my specialties, especially after a nice long walk—climbing into your lap is my favorite way to say “thank you”!

Car rides? Yes, please! I love feeling the wind in my fur, especially when we're heading to Two Rivers. It’s a blast!

I’ve been known to have my goofy moments too. Picture this: I get so excited on those slick wood floors that I sometimes go skating with my legs flying out from under me! Oh, and I love to make a splash in my water dish outside—it’s my own personal pool party!

Now, here’s a funny little story about me: one evening, I managed to slip through a tiny hole in the yard when my humans let me out for potty time. Next thing they know, I’m sitting at the front door like a good boy, waiting for them to let me back in. I like to keep them on their toes!

I’m also a great running buddy! There’s nothing I enjoy more than hitting the trails in the nature preserve and following my dad on his bike. Being off-leash is the best feeling in the world!
