Meet Shadow!Hi there! My name’s Shadow and I have a huge heart, and I’ve got plenty of love to give!I’m a happy, gentle soul who loves going for long walks — I’m great on a leash and I don't pull hard. I can be a little shy when meeting new people, but if you give me a slow introduction (and maybe a few of my favorite treats), I’ll warm up to you quickly. I haven’t spent much time around young kids, but I think I’d do well with calm, respectful children around 10 and up.I get along with other dogs and have made a few good friends here at the shelter — we love to play together while I wait for my turn to find my forever home. Most of my pals have already been adopted, and I can’t help but wonder when it’ll be my turn. Once I’m home, you can count on me to be your snuggle buddy and couch companion. I’ll keep your spot warm if you get up during our favorite show! I’m affectionate, clean, patient, and ready to be the best girl I can be for my forever person.If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, and gentle friend — I think we might be a perfect match. *If your application was approved and you received a call back from the Humane Society of Macomb for a meet and greet, plan to take the animal home that day.
