Meet Star — a true showstopper inside and out!

This gorgeous 2-year-old, 50 lb Husky/Border Collie mix turns heads wherever she goes. With her striking black-and-white coat and stunning bi-colored eyes, Star is as beautiful as she is loving. But what really makes her shine is her sweet, affectionate personality — she’s a total lovebug who just wants to be close to her people.

Star adores attention and isn’t shy about asking for it — she’ll happily try to climb into your lap for snuggles or gently wedge herself in if you’re giving love to another pet. She’s playful and enjoys a good game of tug-of-war or chase with her dog friends, though she’s also happy to relax nearby once playtime’s over. She loves squeaky toys (even if they don’t last long!) and is very food-motivated — the perfect combo for training. She’s house-trained, crate-trained, and gets along great with both dogs and cats.

While she’s wonderfully well-mannered. She doesn’t guard food or toys, though, and has an even, gentle temperament. She does bark occasionally, but not excessively, and she’s still working on walking nicely on a leash.


Star can be a little sensitive to sudden movements, so she’ll do best in a home that offers patience, reassurance, and love. Once she feels safe, her loyal, affectionate nature shines through completely.

Star is the perfect mix of playful and cuddly, confident and gentle. She’ll thrive in a home where she can be part of the action — whether that’s running around the yard, going for adventures, or snuggling up for movie night. With her loving heart and soulful eyes, she’s ready to be someone’s shining star.
