Meet Star!
With her striking black-and-white coat and stunning bi-colored eyes, this gorgeous 2-year-old, 50 lb Husky/Border Collie mix turns heads wherever she goes.
A true athlete, Star can easily keep pace with you as your running buddy, or happily chase a ball or roll around in the yard. But when the adventures are over, she’s also content to settle down near her people and snuggle or snooze.
Star is smart and highly food-motivated; the perfect combo for training. She thrives on structure, because she wants nothing more than to know she’s a good girl (don’t we all?). She’s house-trained, knows basic commands (sit, stay, come, place), walks nicely on her leash, doesn’t guard resources, doesn’t bark at strangers, and sleeps through the night in her crate.
Star loves being around people and other dogs, she’s gentle with small children, and she’s respectful of cats. She will blossom in an active home that can give her security and predictability, and in turn she will repay you with loyalty, devotion, and unending love.
