Don't let Fender's sweet face fool you - once he's playing with other dogs, he turns up the volume! This little guy is wild, vocal, and full of energy, with a playful style that's loud and a bit "mouthy." He's got no manners on the play stage, but he does a great job keeping up with two other high-energy pals.He recently went on an adventure with a volunteer. Here is what they had to say: "His whacky behaviors in the shelter are not who the real Fender is. We saw some jumping (quickly corrected), no nipping and a relatively calm dog. He has a lot of energy to burn and we hardly tired him out after 3 miles, but with regular runs in a fenced area, he'd be good. Fender is a VERY quick learner. He was nervous going over wooden slats on the trails in the woods. Conquered that fear and did the next three like a champ. He tried to jump for treats. After learning that wasn't going to work, he would sit at my feet and wait patiently and use a gentle mouth. He was anxious in the car on the way to the park. On the way back, he laid down.
