Hanky is the ultimate low-energy companion, friendly, sweet, and full of wiggly joy whenever you give him love. He’s happiest lounging by your side, quietly soaking up affection, and using his favorite stuffed toy as a pillow. While Hanky mostly keeps a relaxed pace, every now and then he might surprise you with a tiny burst of playful energy, enough to make you chuckle, but never demanding the spotlight.
Hanky has lived with cats, small dogs, and even free-range chickens and ducks. He’s grown up around children of all ages, from newborns to teenagers, and has proven himself to be a patient, steady presence in every situation. At the shelter, he’s also been a “helper dog,” calmly supporting and modeling positive behavior for other pups. His easygoing nature makes him a joy in public settings, greeting new people warmly without overwhelming them.
