Ruby is a shepherd-hound mix who thrives on routine and structure. She's crate trained, potty trained, and bilingual (she knows commands in both English and Spanish-¡qué lista!). While she may pull at first on walks, she quickly settles into a good rhythm and loves to explore the world nose-first.In her most recent playgroup, Ruby entered the yard a bit stiff and serious... until she met Mr. 305. Suddenly, the walls came down, and Ruby was bouncing around with joy, inviting a game of chase and soaking up every moment of fun. With the right dog-easygoing and friendly-she's happy to let loose and play.During an outing we discovered the following:- she jumped in the car no problem and did settle down after a few minutes of some definite nerves, as the day moved on, she grew into a more comfortable passenger and loved looking around- she was a great explorer - we did about 2 miles at Dix and she was fun - pulled a little but not bad, we didn't see a ton of other dogs, but she had a good time- was very gentle taking treats - pup cups and a burger both- at Mosa, she was fine getting her front nails trimmed, but they couldn't do her back nails, she was too wiggly- she would do best in a harness vs regular collar/leash She's a fan of tough toys (bonus points if she can destroy them), but when the fun winds down, she's just as happy relaxing indoors, enjoying the peace.
