*** AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION, FOSTER, or FOSTER TO ADOPT ***
Meet Jax! He is currently in our P.A.C.K. Program, a 9-week intensive program for routine obedience, agility, and handling training with a prison inmate trainer and he is almost ready to show off his new skills! His new abilities include 'sit', 'wave', 'shake' and more! New adopters should realize that PACK Program graduates will require regular, ongoing reinforcement of learned behaviors in order for them to become permanent.
Jax is a big baby. He is guaranteed to make you laugh when he throws his cute puppy temper tantrums when he doesn't get his way. He is still a very young pup with lots to learn. He now knows basic manners. You can often find Jax belly up to the sky begging for belly rubs. He warms up quicker to females, but has done better with males during his time in PACK. He has a big deep bark that he likes to use when he first meets people. But he quits quickly after meeting people.
Jax is extremely happy when he gets to play with other dogs. He is very bouncy and plays until his hearts content. It's best no toys are involved, as he thinks they are all for him. He is fairly calm indoors and is happy to just snuggle and chill with his humans.
He is both kennel and house trained. He used to use a doggy door in his past home, so he should be able to quickly pick that up again.
Jax cannot go to a new home with kitty cats though.
He'll graduate just in time for Thanksgiving, apply to meet this wrinkly smooshy guy today!
