To schedule a time to meet this animal, please email meetme@arl-iowa.org.---- Likes to nose his way in under your arm and try to get up on your lap if you're sitting in a chair or come right up to your face in bed - Busy pup who loves to connect with people through play and other activities; will likely enjoy physical activity and mental challenges to keep his body and brain busy- Always ready to investigate every new area he enters and every new sound he hears - Has enjoyed exploring his foster family's yard - Loves going on walks and does best with a harness; excited to sniff anything and everything he can and may need some work on handling his excitement when he sees small animals on walks- Good at settling and hanging out after getting home from a walk; foster family says he is happy to lay down and chill for the night when they go to bed - Foster family says he can get carsick - Foster family says he sleeps well through the night once he's settled into his environment - Foster family says he appears to be mostly housebroken and is able to stay home alone, just remember any dog may take time to adjust to a new schedule and routine - Tends to be socially awkward with other dogs and may prefer to be the only dog in his new home (dog intro required)- Needs a home with no cats or small animals - Looking for a teens-and-up home right nowThis pet qualifies for our 7-day Foster-to-Adopt program.
