ATTENTION, LADIES... Wakanda would like a word.

Single? Married? Retired? Crazy dog lady? Doesn't matter. If you're kind, patient, and hand out treats, Wakanda is pretty sure you're wonderful.

Gentlemen... he's going to need a little more convincing.

Wakanda definitely plays favorites. If he decides you're one of his people, congratulations—you've just gained the world's most loyal 16-pound shadow. He'll happily follow you from room to room, snuggle under a blanket, and proudly carry around his beloved emotional support lamb like it's the most valuable possession on Earth.

Strangers, however? They're currently on his "I'll need to investigate this further" list. As the self-appointed Neighborhood Watch Captain, Wakanda believes it's his civic duty to let everyone know when someone new arrives.

His résumé includes: Carries his emotional support lamb everywhere Olympic-level blanket burrower Toy collector extraordinaire Treat enthusiast (bribery works) Walking buddy Professional snuggler Fiercely loyal best friend

So why is he this way?

Wakanda was one of more than 50 dogs rescued from the Wauconda hoarding case. He didn't grow up learning that people could be trusted or that the world was a safe place. Everything he knows about being a dog, he's learning now.

And honestly? He's doing an amazing job.

He's crate trained, potty trained with reminders, loves walks, adores women, and has discovered that blankets are one of life's greatest inventions. He just needs a family willing to keep helping him build confidence.

His forever family should have: A quieter home with a securely fenced yard Older kids or adults Patience and consistency A commitment to continue working with a trainer to help him become more comfortable around strangers and new situations

Every week Wakanda gets a little braver.

Every week he trusts a little more.

Every week he discovers something wonderful that most dogs have known all their lives.

Now all he needs is someone willing to finish the journey with him.

He didn't get to choose how his story began... but together, we can make sure it has the happy ending he deserves.
