She was very underweight when she came to rescue but is now thriving.  Delilah is blind. She has not been blind for very long and is learning how to navigate. She walks tentatively especially in the house. She seems more confident outside. She probably she’s shadows and light which makes it easier outside. She can find her way back into the house. Inside, she is very calm and loves to be near you and will snuggle up and sleep next to you.  She is nervous when you pick her up but is sweet and lovable, never aggressive when picked up. She is working on housebreaking.  She goes outside and uses piddle pads but has occasional accidents. She is attached to her mother Mwanna and would enjoy it if they stayed together.  no history with cats, older children and physical fence.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.  ********************************************************************************** We show some of our adoptable dogs at PetSmart, Utica, each Saturday between the hours of 11:00am and 3:00pm.  Cats typically don't do well at events, so they only attend with a pre-approved meet and greet appointment. If you are interested in a particular pet, we suggest you email: mmarpaws@gmail.com to see if that pet will be there.   Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, not on a first come, first served basis. On site adoption available to pre-approved applicants only.   Adoption fees go towards vaccines, heartworm prevention/testing, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter and other medical problems that may arise.   MMAR is an all volunteer, foster based, 501 (c) 3, non profit organization.
