Meet Bubba: Professional Snuggler & Certified Blanket Burrito
Bubba has a pretty simple life philosophy: wherever his people are, that’s where he wants to be.
He’s a true Velcro dog who will happily follow you from room to room, curl up beside you on the couch, and, if there’s a blanket nearby, transform himself into one very content blanket burrito.
But don’t let all that snuggling fool you. Bubba has a goofy, playful side too! He loves carrying his toys around, spinning happy circles, lounging in the sunshine, chasing leaves, and greeting his favorite humans with plenty of enthusiasm and an immediate request for belly rubs.
A Little More About Bubba
He’s got some training under his belt. Bubba completed a board-and-train program and has worked on his manners, leash skills, and becoming an all-around great companion.
He LOVES his people. Bubba bonds closely with his humans and genuinely just wants to be part of whatever you’re doing. Cooking dinner? He’ll supervise. Watching TV? Save him a spot. Going to another room for absolutely no reason? Bubba’s coming too.
He can absolutely live with another dog. Bubba is currently fostered with a dog and they do play together. He tends to prefer lower-key canine friends who respect his space and aren’t constantly looking for a wrestling partner. As always, we’ll help make sure any potential canine sibling feels like a good match.
He’s great with kids. Bubba is gentle and loving and has done well with children of all ages.
He takes couch time very seriously. Snuggling is not a hobby for Bubba. It’s a calling.
Thunderstorms aren’t exactly his favorite thing, but a ThunderVest, a comfortable place to settle, and some reassurance from his people help him through the scary stuff.
What Bubba Needs Now Is His Person
Bubba has been waiting a long time for someone to see what his foster family already knows: underneath the goofy spins, toys, belly-rub requests, and blanket burritos is an incredibly devoted dog who has so much love to give.
He doesn’t need perfection. He just needs someone who wants a loyal little shadow, a couch companion, and a dog who will be ridiculously happy simply because you came home.
