Meet fergus
Meet Fergus! This handsome lab/hound mix came to us from another shelter about 6 months ago as a wee pup. He arrived with a broken leg, but thanks to our amazing vets, it is fully healed. Now 11 months old, this big and goofy boy is STILL waiting for a forever home! Fergus is a sweet boy who gets along wonderfully with other dogs and kids. He does great in a crate and walks nicely on a leash. He has been growing up in our care instead of a loving home, and we cannot understand why! He is a big goofball who loves his people, his toys, and he is a huge fan of treats. When he hears the treat bag crinkle, he sits and gives the most adorable head tilt you've ever seen! Fergus is a big, growing boy who will definitely need training and tlc, but what he lacks in manners he makes up for in love and loyalty. He's a big fan of our volunteers, here's what they have to say:
"Fergus is so FUN! He loves the outdoors and sniffing everything in true hound fashion. But he is equally happy snuggling up on the couch with you. He is full of tail wags, love, and puppy joy. He played wonderfully with my dogs and is a total goofball!"
