🎶 Meet Cassette Tape - a 4-year-old pup with a story that tugs at the heartstrings and a personality that plays on repeat. 💔📼Cassette Tape came into our care after being reported as abandoned in a backyard, only for us to sadly learn her owner had passed away. Despite coming from tough conditions, she's shown us just how resilient and special she is.After settling into her foster home and decompressing from the stresses of the shelter, Cassette Tape has truly started to blossom. Her playful side is coming out more each day. She adores her stuffy toys (and only sometimes pulls the stuffing out) and loves going on hikes. She is becoming infamous for her epic splooting, earning the nickname "Queen Sploot." She has a silly and sweet streak, too: she insists on being included in human hugs and greets her people with heaps of affection after they have been away at work. Cassette Tape is crate-trained and housebroken. She is good with other dogs, though she tends to take the lead at first, especially with females, so she would likely do best with a polite male companion. Once the ice is broken, she is happy to coexist peacefully. She is social and affectionate but also has an independent streak. She loves to cuddle on the couch, but sometimes prefers to lounge alone in another room for some quiet time with her favorite toy.She is not a fan of loud noises and prefers a calm environment. She even watches television, though surround sound confuses her a little. Cassette Tape will need a home with kids 10+ as she has shown some food guarding tendencies. Cassette Tape is ready to rewind the tough days and fast forward to a forever home where she can feel safe, loved, and seen, and where her playful, affectionate personality can continue to shine.
