Baxter feels like one of those dogs you meet once and keep thinking about long after you’ve walked away. The kind of dog who leans into you like he’s known you forever, who seems to believe every person he meets might be his.

This handsome 4-year-old Bulldog–Staffy mix, born August 17, 2021, is equal parts heart, charm, and steady companionship. Baxter is deeply affectionate and happiest close to his people, offering the kind of quiet loyalty and loving presence that makes a house feel more like home.

And he has the manners to match that big heart.

Fully potty trained, crate trained, and wonderful on leash, Baxter already knows how to be someone’s dog. Walks with him are relaxed strolls with a gentle soul happily keeping pace right beside you like he’s always belonged there.

Baxter prefers quality over quantity when it comes to friendships and can be selective with other dogs, so he may do best as your one-and-only or with the right canine companion. There’s honestly something sweetly relatable about that. He values meaningful connections, and once he trusts you, he’s all in.

He would also thrive with older children who can appreciate his gentle spirit and give him the same respect he naturally offers in return.

 The suggested adoption fee for Baxter is $315. Bullies-N-Beyond is a 501(c)3, non-profit corporation that is 100% volunteer operated. Adoption donation fees are the primary source of funding for the cost of veterinary care for our animals. All dogs adopted through BNBR will have been administered their age appropriate vaccines which may include DHPP, Rabies, Lepto and Bordetella. All dogs will also be adopted out as already altered if of age, for those not of age, a voucher will be provided. The adoptions for all of our animals will take place in the Omaha, NE area and must be done by the adoptive family in person. We do not ship or deliver. BNBR does not adopt on a first serve basis. All available dogs are adopted based on their needs to provide the best fit home.
