If you’re looking for a calm, affectionate buddy who’s happiest simply knowing you’re nearby, then Prince is your perfect match. He’s not into long hikes or energetic play sessions—he prefers lounging on the couch, napping on the nearest dog bed, or curling up in your bed if you’ll let him!

Prince is incredibly low-maintenance when it comes to social settings. He’s not a barker, doesn’t mind other animals, and is great with kids. He’s been through training and knows his commands like “come,” “sit,” “stay,” and “down.” He’s also crate-trained—just say “go to your room” or “time for bed,” and he’s on it.

While he’s a sweet and easygoing guy, he does have a few sensitivities:

-He’s afraid of storms and will cry during them.
-Baths make him nervous—he’ll need a little help getting in and out of the tub.
-Prince has some separation anxiety. He just really loves being with his people.

On the bright side, he’s highly treat-motivated and even loves his veggies! If he knows where the treat jar is, you might catch him politely staring it down, waiting for a snack.

Prince is looking for a home where someone is around more often than not, and where he can be loved, snuggled, and reassured during storms or alone time. His current owner is heartbroken to rehome him but due to long work hours, travel, and health concerns, wants Prince to have the life he deserves.
