This beautiful golden girl just turned 11 years old and has spent over a year waiting for her forever family. Through it all, Abbie has remained loving, gentle, and hopeful — and thankfully, she’s been thriving with an amazing foster family while she waits.
Abbie came to the rescue from a high-intake shelter, but you’d never guess it from her sweet personality. She adores people, loves kids, gets along wonderfully with other dogs, and believes every day should include snuggles, kisses, and happy tail wags.
She’s also been working hard with her foster and has slimmed down beautifully — this girl is healthy, active, and feeling better than ever. And while she may be entering her golden years, don’t let that fool you… Abbie still lights up for tennis balls and time with her people.
She’s affectionate, easygoing, loyal, and happiest simply being near the people she loves. All she’s missing now is a forever home to call her own.
