Hey everyone — it’s me, Barkley! I think maybe you forgot about me, so I wanted to say hi again. I’m doing really well now — I’m on the right meds and working with Jessica Ann Colliti, a dog behaviorist who helped me learn to trust again. My foster family loves me so much… but they know they’re not my forever home. Without them, I don’t know where I’d be today. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143   My Story I’m a handsome blue-nose Staffordshire Terrier with soulful eyes and a heart that’s been through a lot. I was abandoned and ended up in a shelter — just hours from being euthanized on Christmas Eve until rescue angels stepped in and saved me.   After rescue, I bounced from foster to foster. Some were kind, some weren’t… and every move left another scar on my heart. But I never gave up. With training and patience, I’ve made amazing progress.   I’m super loyal — when I bond, I love deeply and protectively. I can be nervous with new people at first and may nip at hands or feet if I’m unsure.
