DNA results are in for Tater and he is 61% Bulldog along with small percentages of 12 other breeds. Tater is a loyal, loving dog who’s happiest just being near his people. He is fantastic with kids and forms strong bonds with his people. Tater enjoys daily walks and does well on a leash. He’s potty trained, kennel trained, and has full run of his foster home because he’s respectful and non-destructive. He’s an easy dog to live with and loves a calm routine where he can relax and spend time with his humans. Tater would do best as the only pet, as he can be selective with other dogs. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs.
