Meet Chewbacca—aka ChewChew or Mr. Doot Doot! This 80-lb sweetie is loyal, protective, and full of love once he warms up to you. He can be fearful with new people at first, but with patience and time, he’ll become your most devoted companion. ChewChew is house-trained and walks well on a prong collar or gentle lead. He can be reactive, especially with bigger dogs, so a home where he’s the only pet is ideal. He’s more tolerant of smaller dogs but still needs continued work on his reactivity with both strangers and other pups. He’s grown up around other dogs and has his favorite friends to play with. He will need to work on his reactivity around unknown dogs. ChewChew would thrive in a calm, adult-only home with someone who understands and appreciates his protective nature. If you're looking for a loyal best friend who will always have your back, ChewChew will be your perfect match! Adoption fee is negotiable.
