Meet speckles
Speckles is really struggling in the shelter.
She’s almost 3 years old, 44 lbs, and she’s just a sad and scared girly here.
She came to us after running into an Aldi trying to get warm… and someone pepper sprayed her. Since then, the shelter has been a lot for her. The noise, the constant movement, the unfamiliar faces… it’s all overwhelming.
Before her walk, she needed some extra hugs from our shelter manager just to feel brave enough to head outside. Once she felt safe, she leaned in and soaked up every bit of comfort.
We don’t know much about Speckles yet other than how incredibly sweet she is, but we’d love the chance to learn who she is in a home. A foster home could help her feel safe again and show us the rest of who she is.
If you have room for a sad and scared girl who just needs patience, warmth, and kindness… Speckles is waiting.
