Meet Hank – A True Gentleman Ready for His Forever Home!
Hank’s journey hasn’t been easy, but this resilient boy is finally living pain-free and ready to find a loving family! When Hank arrived at the shelter, he was suffering from excruciating dental pain, making him too uncomfortable to eat or trust people. After two long weeks, he was finally released to us and rushed to CARES, where he received much-needed pain relief. A full dental exam revealed severe infections, rotting gums, and broken roots beneath his gums—so a full-mouth extraction was necessary.
After surgery, Hank transformed into a whole new dog! He discovered the joys of food, gentle pets, and human companionship. In his foster home, he has blossomed into a laid-back, affectionate gentleman who enjoys leisurely walks, cozy naps, and plenty of cuddle time. His absolute favorite? Belly and chest rubs—he can never get enough!
Hank does have environmental skin allergies. We took him to the dermatologist and he is now on an allergy medication, but will need to in the future be on allergy injections to address his allergies and have continued follow ups with a dermatologist!
Hank is looking for a calm and loving home where he can relax, enjoy life, and soak up all the affection he’s missed out on. Could you be the one to give this sweet boy the forever family he deserves?
