Meet jackson
Meet Jackson! He is a 6 yr old neutered male American pitbull mix that weighs 51lbs with such beautiful brown eyes. He came into the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 3/5 as a stray. Tho at the shelter longer than he would like, he still keeps a smile on his face, and looks forward to getting out of his kennel, going for walks and running through the shelter yard. He enjoys climbing on the equipment in the yard too. He enjoys walking near his human companions, getting petted and loved on. At times he will walk strongly on a leash, but after some playtime, he walks very well. He also takes treats gently. Walking past the other dogs barking at him, he hasn’t shown any interest, but we do ask if there is another dog in the home, to please ask the shelter for a dog test. He would be happy to leave behind the shelter life and settle in with his own loving family who will make him a loving family member. Come spend some time with him and he will capture your heart.
