(DOB 07/10/2023) Delilah is heartworm positive and our rescue is treating her. She is available for adoption within a 1 hour radius of Wake Forest, NC at this time.

To have Delilah around is to have luck by your side every day! She’s a sweet, playful, and loving dog who adores both people and other dogs. While she’s a little shy at first, once she’s comfortable, her true personality shines through—she’s a loyal companion, always ready to make you smile with her happy energy. Delilah loves being around her family and enjoys spending time with her humans, though she prefers to stay close without being overly clingy. She's a snuggler who loves to receive pets and affection but is just as happy to quietly sit near you, soaking in the love.

Delilah is great with kids and loves socializing with them, making her the perfect addition to a family. She’s curious and enjoys exploring her surroundings, always eager to discover new things. Whether she's playing in the yard or curling up on her cozy doggy bed indoors, Delilah is happiest when she’s with you. She’s obedient and eager to please, making her a wonderful companion to have by your side.

Delilah has lots of energy and a playmate and a fenced in yard will help burn off the excess energy she has; so if you have at least one other playful looking for an equally awesome playmate and yard with a nice fenced in area, that is exactly what this sweet girl is looking for!

Delilah is already both house and crate trained though she sleeps she sleeps in a doggy bed in the house. No problems there. She is a little nervous when first getting in the car but settles in as the ride goes on; it's probably just something she will get more comfortable with as she has more experiences of ride alongs.

With a heart full of love and a gentle, shy nature, Delilah just needs a loving home where she can feel safe and appreciated. She’ll bring joy, loyalty, and a dash of luck into your life. As part of Delilah’s $300 adoption fee, she is spayed, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and current on her monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.
