It’s obvious that Chet has STAR quality! Not only is he the most handsome guy around, but he is also a very affectionate dog and he is very smart. He went to puppy school as a youngster and learned his basic commands. He being on the receiving end of his human’s attention, snuggling with them on the couch, sleeping in the bed with them and he always gives kisses freely. He’s a lot of fun too… loves to play with toys, and if you’ll throw them, he will catch and retrieve balls and frisbees. Chet is a fairly quiet and a little shy and he want’s all of his human’s attention for himself. That being said, he needs to be the only dog in the home. He gets along with other dogs as long as they are laid back/submissive, but prefers not to live with them. He hasn’t been around little kids, but would be fine around older kids that would respect him and treat him with kindness. Chet will make a wonderful companion for some lucky family! He is three years old (dob 11/9/21) and weighs 40-45 pounds, has been neutered, micro-chipped, 4DX heartworm tested, fecal tested, is current on all vaccinations, worming, heartworm and flea prevention. His adoption fee is $400.
Chet is being fostered in Tennessee. Once adopted he will be transported to his pickup location by a professional dog transport company. Our rescue ships to the Northeast area every week and his fee includes transportation. Due to state laws, we cannot accept applications from residents of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island or Maine since we can’t adopt directly to those states.
