Bo is an older gentleman looking for his last home. Bo is a sweet dog with lots of love to give but he also has anxiety so he needs love in return. Bo has had a hard journey in life. For the first 7 years of his life, he had a family with kids. His family experienced a hardship and he came to live with us for a couple of years while his family made needed changes. His family got to take him home about three years ago. Unfortunately, the family experienced another hardship about a year ago, and they had to give him up again. Bo has had his life upended several times. He is so ready for a permanent home. Bo is looking for a calm environment where he can relax and just be himself. He is a bloodhound so he likes to tell you all about his feelings. He does act protective and will loudly bark at strangers. Once he gets to know someone, he may bark, but it is his bloodhound talk. Bo would do best in a home where his people are around a lot. Bo does well with calm dogs and prefers female dogs. He does well with older, dog savvy children.
