Duck is a truly gorgeous pup with a personality to match. His mom was a purebred English Cream Golden Retriever, and his dad was a Golden/Aussie mix—giving him both a stunning look and a fun, energetic spirit. Duck is a happy, active dog who will thrive with structure, training, and a family ready to help him be his very best self.To support that goal, Duck will be participating in Wright-Way Rescue’s intensive 8-week training program at a federal prison in Marion, IL. Through this unique program, he will receive daily, hands-on training and socialization. When he graduates, he’ll be a well-mannered, well-trained companion ready to start life with his forever family.Duck is available to reserve now, but he won’t be ready to go home until his training is completed—approximately the second week of May. If you’re looking for an incredible companion who comes with the added bonus of extensive professional training, Duck may be the perfect match for you.Duck does well with other dogs, but he prefers not to share his food or high-value items.
