Meet Gaia 🌻
Gaia is a beautiful, almost 5-year-old pit bull mix with a playful, loving spirit. She currently lives peacefully with cats.
She does best with slow, supervised introductions to other dogs. Gaia can become excited and overstimulated, so slowness is key for her success. With patience and structure, she can continue to make progress.
Gaia knows basic commands like sit, wait, and come here, and would benefit from continued training—especially leash work. She prefers a long leash over a short one.
She is spayed and up to date on her rabies vaccination; her remaining vaccinations are currently due. Gaia gave birth to puppies in early 2023 before being rescued and has been thriving ever since.
Gaia would do best in a home with a fenced yard or ample indoor space to burn off energy and relax. She is smart, loyal, and ready to bond deeply with someone who can offer patience, love, and consistency.
