Meet Tex - a 2-year-old, medium-sized German Shepherd mix with endless enthusiasm and an even bigger heart. Tex is housebroken, leash-trained, neutered, and great with other dogs and basically every human he meets. He’s smart, affectionate, playful, and always ready for his next adventure.
Tex has lots of energy and would love an active home where he can hike, play, explore, and then crash on the couch afterward. He’s completed basic obedience training and learns quickly - though he still believes stealing socks is a competitive sport. He would do best in a home with adults or teenagers only, as his bounce can be a bit much for little ones.
He’s friendly, goofy, and full of personality, with the kind of happy spirit that makes people fall in love fast. Cats? Let’s just say Tex thinks they’re suspicious little creatures, so a cat-free home would probably be best.
