Meet Snoopy!
Snoopy is all things sweet, silly, and shy. Don’t let his delicate wallflower demeanor fool you - once he’s in his comfort zone with his people, he lets himself go with play bows, zoomies, cuddles, and kisses. He’s an introvert at heart, strangers will always cause some anxiety but it doesn’t take long before that stranger can become his new best friend. Snoopy often finds his confidence and bravery in the company of other dogs. He’s playful, bouncy, and always up to roughhouse. Snoopy would benefit from living with another dog in the home to keep him company when people have to leave for work or errands. He’s been in foster care for several months and while he was initially distressed when left alone or crated, now that he’s settled in and knows that he won’t be alone for long he’s able to settle down and relax. He will need an adjustment period to get comfortable in a new home and, as a Velcro dog, won’t ever be one to appreciate solitude, but he is able to learn to be calm when the people are if he’s got a dog by his side.
Snoopy is gentle and tolerant, he may do well with dog-savvy children who are comfortable going at his pace and letting him come up to him when he is ready. He has no previous experience with cats but does show prey drive towards other small animals. We would recommend slow introductions with cats to ensure the safety and comfort of all animals involved.
