Meet koda
Koda is a 8-year-old German Shepherd originally rescued in Yokosuka, Japan when he was just 1 yr old. He is from a family of police dogs, but did not undergo formal training due to abandonment. He has completed basic obedience and is a very loving boy. He is looking for a best friend who will be his companion for the rest of his life. We have had Koda for over 5 years now and never thought we would be in a position to have to rehome, but life threw a curve ball at us and we know Koda deserves better than what we can give him now. Koda suffers from separation anxiety, but we are hoping the right person will ease this transition for him. His next owner may feel he needs further formal behavioral training to fix his reactivity. It is imperative to us that he does not get rehomed again after this, so we are urging anyone interested to please reconsider if you have young children, a small breed dog, a geriatric animal, or cats (Koda does not know his size and can play rough).
