Nita is a sweet, beautiful girl who is full of potential to shine in the right home. She can be nervous in new situations and with new people and needs a calm, upbeat, confident leader to encourage and teach her that the world is a safe and fun place to be. She is housebroken, crate trained, knows sit, enjoys running around the yard, playing with other dogs and chasing tennis balls and squirrels. She would benefit from continuing socialization and training to build her confidence and help her bond with her new family, as well as regular activities to get her energy out. Nita loves walks in the cooler mornings and evenings, and other activities like hiking, running and biking would be great for her to try, as well! She is eager to learn and loves verbal praise, as well as string cheese, for motivation. Nita does need regular brushing and protection from extended time out in the heat due to her thick, luxurious coat. She is spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative and up-to-date on her vaccinations and heartworm preventative.
