Adopt River! This 6ish-year-old guy wants nothing more than to be snuggled by his people and give hugs. He has the best smile and is an absolutely delightful companion and the best work-from-home buddy. River will snooze at your feet during meetings, waking up occasionally to place his paw on your leg to check in. River would love a big backyard to run around in and then relax in the sun - he'll spend hours out there enjoying the fresh air, if you'll let him! River loves to chew on bones and squeaky toys and watch the world outside the front window. He enjoys the companionship of other dogs, but is not super playful with them. (Though he does enjoy a good game of a chase in the yard!) River also isn't a big fan of new people inside his home. So if you're a bit of an introvert, too, and prefer to do your socializing outside the house, then River is the pup for you! And the good news is that he's perfectly happy to hang out quietly in his crate on the occasions you do have company. This guy very quickly won the hearts of his foster family, and he will win your heart, too. To meet River, please fill out an online application at http://caws.org/adoption-application.
