Hi there! I'm Peggy, and to quote Miley Cyrus “I came in like a wreckinggg ball”. I'm a sweet-natured girl with an easygoing personality and a lot of energy.

I can make any house a home. I would love a big backyard to run around in but would be just as happy with an apartment patio where I can sunbath and chew on my bone. I could see myself being a part of a great big family, being the dog sister to a little kid, or being with a single dog-mom/dad. Other dogs in the house would be great but I’m also okay being the one and only pup in the place. See how versatile I am!

But I also have a chill side. I love human affection and when belly rubs are being given, I'm just in heaven. I also like to cuddle and hang peacefully on a patio. I thrive on mental and physical stimulation, but at the same time I am very easy going. I go HARD when it’s time to play and can crash HARD when it’s time to nap. I love to play with balls, ropes, and toys and can entertain myself for hours. A few things on my to do list are: car rides, patio time, the doggie spas, toys, and cuddling with my people. Balls are my absolute favorite! I don't care how big or small, balls are my jam, and I'll play with them all day long if allowed. (My trainer lets me play with them for a bit and then takes them away so I can calm down. Oh, how I love balls!)

I tend to get excited when hanging out with other dogs, but I am working on my social skills. I may need a few moments to properly introduce myself and give them a once-sniff-over, but after that, I should be all set to become best friends! My trainer says I do my best when I have time to be properly introduced to new dogs, have time to decompress, and build trust, and then I should be good to go! (Future adopter: My trainer has even offered to help you with doggie intros so we connect in the most beautiful way!). I’ve crossed paths with cats and have no issues with them.

I'm still working on a few of my skills, but I'm eager to learn and please my humans. My trainer says I do great listening and redirecting with some guidance. And that I make eye contact and "check-in" with him when we are walking. He’s helped me greatly with my leash walking skills but sometimes I slip up and start to pull or react to unknown dogs. Don’t worry, we’ll get past it! When I want something, I do have a tendency to vocalize it. I’m working on not barking as much and would love your help improving!

I've got a fun and silly personality, and nothing makes me happier than spending time with my family.
