This sweet and affectionate adult terrier mix is looking for his perfect walking partner. walks well on a leash with minimal pulling and is making great progress in learning to heel. Otis is very observant of his surroundings and likes to slowly take in everything around him. While he may take a little time to warm up to new situations, with patience and reassurance, he adjusts well and slowly becomes more comfortable.
Otis knows the "sit" command, especially when thereās a treat involvedāheās a smart boy whoās eager to please! He absolutely loves attention and being petted, making him a wonderful companion for someone who enjoys affectionate dogs. Whether you're heading out for a leisurely stroll or a brisk walk, Otis would love to be by your side as your loyal walking buddy.
This dog is eligible for up to three in-home training sessions after adoption! These sessions are led by someone familiar with the dogās training, personality, and needs. Theyāre a great way to ease the transition, answer questions, and help everyone start off on the right paw.
The shelter is open Tuesday through Friday from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM, and on Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A meet-and-greet is required for all shelter dogs if you already have a dog. Thank you for considering the adoption of a shelter animal in need!
