Meet bitsy

Bitsy is a 4-year old bully breed mix who weighs 62 lbs.
She is great with other dogs and even likes cats. She is housebroken and crate trained. Bitsy is nervous around small children so we would recommend a family with adults only or teenage kids who can be good leaders for her. She is a strong and active girl. Meeting strangers can be stressful for her, in particular some men, so you just have to be smart about intros.
She is an absolute love!
Bitsy was found as a stray and luckily was saved by our southern rescue partners.
Bitsy is staying with our friends at Kompletely K9 Dog Rehabilitation and Training where she has made some awesome friends, both canine and human. She has done ok with cats and is learning lots of leash manners and loving life! Bitsy is crate-trained and house-trained and ready to find FURever love!

Please note: we do not have a physical facility where the dogs are housed; they are cared for in our wonderful foster network throughout Maine. It is our expectation that, once approved, a potential family will meet the dog(s) in the foster setting where they are feeling safe and loved.
